The Easiest, Most Delicious Meatloaf You'll Ever Make.

Most things that I cook, or new recipes that I attempt are my own take or my own creations, if you will, from other recipes that I get inspiration from. I am horrible at following exacts (if you watch our vlogs, you'll know I can't bake cookies to save my life) but for the most part I think I'm pretty good at putting together random things to create something divine.I've never been a huge fan of meatloaf, it's ok, but never great. Well, I put my own twist on the typical meatloaf recipe and let's just say between just me, my husband, and my 1 and a half-year old, the whole pan of meatloaf is gone in one sitting.-Serves 4-6 peopleINGREDIENTS:

  • About 1 lb of ground turkey or ground beef (I use ground turk)
  • 1 small red apple (I use gala apples, but any red apple with do)
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 slices of bread (I use wheat, but any works)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of dill
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • Pinch of parsley
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

INSTRUCTIONS:*Make sure the ground meat is thawed and ready to cook.MEATLOAFCut up your apple and onion then place them in a large bowl. Mix in the salt, pepper, oregano, dill, and minced garlic. Take your bread and either cut it up, or easier, just rip it up into small bits and add it to the mixture.ย Add in the eggs and meat.I like to use my (clean) hands just to mush it all together, but if you prefer a large spoon, that also works. Mix everything together until all ingredients are even throughoutAdd your meatloaf mixture into or onto a pan (I use a specific meatloaf pan to drain fat)To make the glaze, mix a half cup of ketchup and a half cup of barbecue sauce into a bowl then pour it onto the meatloaf and spread it out evenly.Bake for 50 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. When it's ready, take it out, sprinkle parsley on top and it's ready to serve! This is a family favorite for us, my husband is now requesting it once a week! Try it and let me know what you think of it, enjoy!_MG_0005_MG_0017_MG_0055.jpg*Some links may be affiliate
